A trail starting at the very Singerhof takes you to the beautiful alpine meadow called Marinzenalm. As an alternative you can take the lift from Kastelruth to access the alpine meadow for a walk. Once you get there, a giant playground will be waiting for you and your children, where the little ones can let off steam while you are relaxing. The free-running goats are a peculiarity your children will certainly like. And if you feel like fishing, even that is possible at the Marinzenalm. The Tuffalm in Völz, at a distance of about 10 km, is also worth a visit. A hike around Lake Völser Weiher, up the Schlern Mountain, where you will walk in the footsteps of the Schlern witches, or on the Geologensteig (geologists’ path) are also great ideas for your hiking holiday in Kastelruth.
