Holiday on the Seiser Alm in summer

In summer the holiday region Seiser Alm offers a total of 450 km of hiking trails with different levels of difficulty. From mid-June until well into autumn you can explore the special fauna and discover rare species on your hikes. On an alpine hut tour you explore not only the breathtaking nature but also experience South Tyrolean hospitality and delight your palate with local specialties. On themed hikes like the Sagenweg (legend trail), the Geologensteig (geologists’ path) or the Oachner Höfeweg (farm trail) you can learn more about the geological condition, the customs and the culture of the region. The easy family hike along the Oswald-von-Wolkenstein-Path takes you back to the time of the knights.

Holiday on the Seiser Alm: There is a lot to be experienced

If you feel like enjoying the sun and swimming in the afternoon, we recommend an excursion to nearby Lake Völser Weiher or to the outdoor swimming pool in the Sportzone Telfen. And you can go fishing in the fish pond on the Marinzenalm, while your children have fun on the playground or engage with the animals in the petting zoo. Besides numerous bike trails a holiday on the Seiser Alm offers the opportunity to go horse riding, play golf, to climb or to try Nordic walking. And do visit the farmers’ market in Kastelruth, or prove your courage with a tandem flight off the Spitzbühl on the Seiser Alm, where we have our alpine meadows and our alpine hut, all the way down to the Singerhof!
